As we approach the end of the year, in all things we should be thankful. There are 15 bible verses about being thankful I want to introduce. We have to be thankful in all that we do, I am guilty of not being thankful but rather sometimes complaining.
I have this habit of complaining about things in life whether it be my job or my goals or just anything. My life isn’t in a bad place, and I have more than some people but I for some reason complain. This is something I realize and have caught myself.
Being thankful shouldn’t be just when you get what you want but in all you do. When you eat be thankful for the meal, for shelter, for family, for life, for being able to get up and go. There are many more things to be thankful for.
Life is so beautiful and great not to thank the Lord for all he has done, instead I feel guilty most times for complaining and being ungrateful. Even though it’s not our intention but we fall in this cycle of doing that, it’s something we must train ourselves not to do.
The fact that we are up this morning is reason enough to be thankful and a lot of times we don’t see that. Am telling you, never take than for granted, working as a nurse I see so many things and that alone makes me so grateful for life and to not take anything for granted.
I don’t want who is reading this to feel bad or thing something is wrong with them, it’s human nature. We want more and part of that is talking about the things we have. In fact, I want to encourage you to be thankful in every step of life from the small to the large
I want to say the Lord is good all the time and all the time he is good. I want to take time to share fifteen bible verses about being thankful and as you read them, meditate on the words.
