Our eyes are the first thing people see when they meet us; there is nothing worse than meeting someone, and their eyes show you exactly how they feel.
Before the pandemic, the face was the center of attention but now that the world has changed, and we have to wear a mask everywhere, and now the eyes are the focal point of attention. The eyes speak so much about who we are, and how you take care of them says so much about you.
Have you ever watched television and wonder how do these celebrities do it? To answer that, they didn’t wake up like that, and they too have to follow certain tricks to make their eyes look the best. As an avid Vogue beauty follower and seeing the simple yet effective methods that celebrities use to make themselves look flawless on the red carpet.
Everyday women such as yourself can achieve this without breaking the bank and take less time than any skincare routine. There are certain tricks and secrets you can follow to minimize or rid of under-eye bags.
1. Eye Mask
This has got to be one of the best-sent items from the beauty heavens. An eye mask is one of the best ways to start the day by lifting and sculpting the eyes. Applying these in the morning is quick and easy; this can be used while you do other things around the house. Applying an eye mask is one of Hollywood’s best-kept secrets; many celebrities do this before a red-carpet event, and it has been proven to work.
2. Eye roller
One of the best ways to massage and lift the face is to roll it out. To optimize the eye mask’s effect, it is best to use an eye-roller with the eye mask. My friend told me about this a while ago about how it does wonders, and for her, she likes to put the roller in the fridge to make it cold; and being cold adds that lift. Eventually, I bought one that vibrates, and I use it; the vibration massages the face while also lifting. This is one of the best inventions for having plump, luscious skin. One big trick about this is to put it in the freezer overnight before using it, and you will see how good it works.
3. Concealer
After watching countless Vogue videos on celebrities sharing their makeup tips, one of the things I realized is the fact that they use little to no makeup. I love watching those videos see just how certain celebrities do their makeups and achieve a flawless look with minimal coverage. One thing I realize is that most of them had similar eye treatment routines that include eye-mask, roller, and concealer. Adding a concealer that matches your skincare makes the eyes look alive and upbeat. Wearing heavy makeup nowadays is a bit impossible unless you won’t be wearing a mask- (not advised)- wearing a little concealer under the eyes could be a treat for you.
4. Eye cream
I am not the biggest fan of eye creams; I prefer a more holistic approach when it comes to beauty. I will say there are multiple benefits to adding an eye cream to your routine that will enhance it. A little goes a long way and adding this extra treatment to bring out the eyes and remove any bags.
5. Collagen mask
This one is a personal choice, but I love a good collagen mask. I remember I went to Sephora and got a facial; while there, the beautician told me, “You need to add collagen to your daily routine.” I was like, am not even that old, but it’s good to plan ahead as you don’t sag extra hard when you get older. I love using this product twice a week as a normal part of my skincare routine, and it works; I would get compliments on my skin all the time.
