Honest Beauty has been on my radar for a while and I have been a huge fan of the company for some time now. Anyone who have read my blog know that I love skincare and I love to share all my knowledge about it.
Honest Beauty is for people who are into clean, vegan, sustainable and affordable skincare. Which is why it has become so popular and a lot of people love it, as there is always something for everyone.
Honest Beauty History
The Honest Company was launched in 2012 by founder Jessica Alba, she founded the company with the premise of offering wholesome products for babies. Which is why when the company first started alot of products offered where mostly baby items such as diapers, shampoos, body oils etc.
Honest Beauty have come a long way and still have many more to go. As they have expanded from just diapers and house hold products to branch in maternity, baby clothing and beauty.
I have been a part of the Honest family for a while now. I remember- they still do it- I use to subscribe for five items and would get the detergent and body products monthly for a fee. I was drawn to their core value and what their company had to offer.
What sets them apart?
Honestly speaking what the company has to offer isn’t a new concept and have been done before. At the time, offering clean, vegan skincare still wasn’t a big thing and a lot of company wasn’t offering it in the way they are offering it now.

Honest Beauty Skincare Trio Review
I decided to give the Skincare Trio a try since am seeing it everywhere on my instagram. This is by far one of the best ways to try out these products before you buy the full size, not to mention they make good gifts.
What is included in the box?
Hydrogel Cream: 0.67 fl. oz. / 20 mL
Gentle Gel Cleanser: 1.5 fl. oz. / 44 mL
Vitamin C Radiance Serum: 0.33 fl. oz / 10 mL
Each product compliments each other and does have some amazing qualities. The first step is to clean with the gentle Gel Cleanser which contains Chamomile and Calendula extracts to help calm skin. The next step is to add the Vitamin C serum which which boosts skin’s natural glow-from-within and creates a more even-looking complexion with its blend of Vitamin C, pearl and hyaluronic acid.
Lastly, the Hydrogel Cream infused with hyaluronic acid to soften + firm, and jojoba + squalane to help hydrate and soothe thirsty skin, this moisture-release water cream feels light + refreshing as it gives skin a big dose of hydration.
The consistency of the formula is what got my attention, the Hydrogel Cream has a creamy consistency and isn’t too thick. When I buy a moisturizer I look for one that is almost water base because my skin can get greasy if too oily.
So far this product has been a hit for me and I would recommend it, also I do have a video up on instagram of me trying the products.
